WHALE WATCHING : December - March

Our beautiful bay is known for the humpback whales that come here to breed and give birth. On occasion you might also spot orcas in our bay fulfilling the circle of life. You can spot the whales from the beach or rooftop, look for the spout. Or you can book a boat whale watching tour. Here are recommended tours:

Islas Marietas

The small, uninhabited Marietas Islands (Islas Marietas) are located in the Bay of Banderas off Mexico's Pacific coast. It is a UNESCO-listed biosphere reserve, the islands are famous for their abundance of flora and fauna.

Las Caletas

Secluded Las Caletas nature reserve. Stroll through the jungle, take a cooking class, or enjoy the beach and its beach activities such a s snorkeling or swing on a hammock and relax.

Rhythms of the Night

Sunset cruise to Las Chalets, for an evening dinner by candlelight followed by a Rhythms of the Night show.
